Health benefits you ask? How? Here's how. Baking is calming, and meditative. When you bake, you're tuning your attention into measurements, ingredients, and the recipe. Somehow in that, it is shown to reduce negative thoughts and keep your mind calm and relaxed! Baking stimulates your senses. Baking cakes, cookies, or any treats usually lets out an aroma that is comforting and warm. The smells and textures of baked goods can trigger happy hormones in your body! Baking spreads love. When you bake, it is usually something that you can slice or share with others! The simple act of baking allows an opportunity to spread love to others. That is personally why we opened our bakery - because I saw the joy it brought to so many people! There is a reason why baking is so popular during the holidays; it is a time of gifts and giving. I encourage anybody reading this to bake something you love and see the happy faces from people you want to share it with.
